EngageNow, the internet gaming hub operated by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), has broadened its reach to Saskatchewan, becoming its third provincial presence in Canada.
The platform, introduced in partnership with Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) and SaskGaming, will provide Saskatchewan inhabitants with a diverse range of casino options and sports wagering. They aim to incorporate live casino options and poker later in 2023.
Pat Davis, BCLC President and CEO, conveyed his excitement about the expansion, remarking that BCLC is pleased to assist Saskatchewan in establishing secure and regulated online gaming. He also acknowledged SIGA and SaskGaming for their collaboration in introducing EngageNow to the province.
Zane Hansen, SIGA President and CEO, added that SIGA takes pride in being the sole proprietor of Saskatchewan’s inaugural and only legitimate online gaming site, offering a secure and engaging choice for residents.
The introduction, originally declared in June, follows what SIGA termed a “comprehensive” proposal solicitation process.
Susan Flett, SaskGaming President and CEO, described the launch as a “momentous occasion” for casino gaming and entertainment in Saskatchewan.
