BetMGM is diving into the poker scene with its inaugural poker championship! Prepare for the BetMGM Poker Championship, taking place from June 23rd to 26th at the opulent Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. This thrilling competition is part of the celebrated 2022 ARIA Poker Classic.

Luke Staudenmaier, BetMGM’s Director of Poker, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We are delighted to introduce the BetMGM Poker Championship to Vegas during one of the most eagerly awaited poker events. Aria is a legendary venue in the poker realm, and we are privileged to be a significant part of this year’s Poker Classic. This collaboration with MGM Resorts allows us to engage with players both virtually and face-to-face, delivering remarkable experiences and exhilarating poker play.”

The championship boasts a $3,500 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em event with a guaranteed prize pool of one million dollars. But wait, there’s more! On Saturday, June 25th, prepare for the BetMGM Poker Mystery Bounty event, a $600 buy-in tournament that signifies Aria’s initial venture into the captivating world of live Mystery Bounty poker.

For those hoping to secure their spot, BetMGM is conducting daily and weekly satellite tournaments, providing an opportunity to win one of at least 15 prize packages. These packages encompass a coveted seat in the BetMGM Poker Championship, travel costs, and a lavish five-night stay at the impressive Aria.

As BetMGM broadens its reach, they remain dedicated to encouraging responsible gaming. Through programs like GameSense, they furnish players with the tools and assistance they require to enjoy the game responsibly.

The British Columbia Gaming Commission (BCGC) joined forces with MGM Resorts, an associate since 2017, to launch a novel responsible wagering project. This endeavor expands upon BetMGM’s efforts during March’s Problem Gambling Awareness Month, in which they partnered with the National Council on Problem Gambling to increase public understanding.
