A prominent online sports betting affiliate marketing firm, Catena Media, has targeted Vermont for expansion.

Following Vermont’s legalization of sports wagering, the company swiftly took action. Preexisting agreements with industry giants DraftKings, Fanatics, and FanDuel allowed Catena Media to launch immediately upon the trio’s official approval on January 11th.

Demonstrating their commitment, they are deploying Vermont-centric material across their network of websites. For instance, Catena Media has collaborations with major sports media platforms, like The Sporting News, to deliver comprehensive coverage tailored to the Vermont market.

Although not the most densely populated state, Vermont marks a significant achievement. It was the final New England state to authorize online sports betting and represents the first North American market to open in 2024, potentially followed by North Carolina.

Ryan Harper, a Catena Media Vice President, highlighted the substantial interest in Vermont from both the sector and wagerers. He emphasized Vermonters’ familiarity with online betting through daily fantasy sports and horse racing.

This recent expansion is another victory for Catena Media, strengthening their footprint in more than 28 states and Canadian provinces.

Catena Media, after divesting from their Italian branch for a substantial €19.8 million in late 2023, recently declared their full commitment to the regulated US market. All their attention and assets are being redirected domestically.
